Civil Design Engineer
Costin Roe Consulting is a medium sized consulting engineering practice specialising in providing civil and structural engineering advice. The firm has been established since 1989 and has grown to provide a diverse range of professional services to clients in the building and construction industries.
Our head office is located in Walsh Bay, in Sydney’s tourist precinct, close to transport, the bay, parks and restaurants.
We are currently seeking an intermediate Civil Design Engineer with 5 years’ experience working within the industrial and commercial sectors. You will be joining an active team and play an integral role in project delivery to completion and client liaison.
We seek applicants who can demonstrate their ability in the following areas:
- Providing civil engineering design for bulk earthworks, stormwater management, retaining wall layouts, batter treatment, and surface grading:
- Planning engineering calculations, technical specifications, data sheets and reports:
- Participating in design reviews:
- Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards, including ISO codes and standards: and
- Exposure to civil design packages, 12D Model, Civil 3D (AutoCad), Drains, Music, Autoturn, XPStorm

- A degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution:
- Be able to manage multiple projects and goals at the same time:
- Have a naturally high standard and an innate drive to achieve excellence in everything you do.
- Have a strong work and social ethic.
- Proven ability to work effectively external consultants, Council, clients, our Engineers and Drafting Team.
