The Eastern Creek Business Park Stage 4, followed Frasers Property’s successful development of the Stage 3 Business Park nestled between the Pioneer quarry and M4 Motorway. The 20 Ha estate required the realignment of The Upper Angus Creek, construction of a 19,000m3 regional detention basin and water quality system in addition to the large-scale civil engineering & earthworks, road construction and servicing of the site.

Following the success of Stage 4, CRC was engaged to complete civil works at Eastern Creek Business Park Stage 5, encompassing the industrial development of 10Ha of land previously used by Hanson and Fulton Hogan in their concrete batching and asphalting operations. CRC completed civil engineering for the SSD & detailed design phases of the project. Engineering included the design of a regional detention basin incorporating WSUD & integrated water cycle management elements including water reuse, a bio-retention system and a wetland.

Additionally, the existing deep uncontrolled fill on the land resulted in an unorthodox earthworks filling strategy being formulated in conjunction with PSM Geotechnical Engineers to provide an economical earthworks and retaining wall solution for the site.
