- Creating a Built Environment that reflects a diverse Australia
As an Ambassador for ‘Women in Construction’, Tanaz Dhondy, representing both CRC and UoW, serves as a role model for women in the construction industry. With PhD research focused on innovative and sustainable construction methods, Ms Dhondy has spoken on resilient infrastructure for climate change at the World Engineers Convention in 2019, and on the potential for using sea-sand in concrete for coastal infrastructure at the inaugural International Workshop on Coastal Reservoirs in 2018.
Her work highlights the importance of diversity in engineering for creating resilient, forward-thinking solutions.
