Costin Roe Consulting Pty Ltd was established in 1989 as Costin Structural Pty Ltd by Wayne Costin. Since then the firm has grown continuously and now has over 20 staff with offices in Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Newcastle and Wollongong. The firm has a strong reputation in providing value in engineering and management for our clients.
The firm has two principals, Wayne Costin and Grant Roe. Wayne is the founding Director. Prior to starting the business Wayne was a principal of Meinhardt Consulting Engineers and was the Director in Charge of their Sydney office. Grant joined Wayne in 1990 and has been involved in the business since then, becoming an Associate in 1995 and a Partner in 1999. The business was renamed Costin Roe Consulting Pty Ltd in 2001.
Costin Roe Consulting Pty Ltd has also initiated two separate businesses called Strata Engineering Solutions and Business Management Systems. Strata Engineering Solutions was formed to provide engineering, reporting and investigation services to residential strata property owners, which also includes the design, documentation and supervision of remedial works. Business Management Systems provides strategic and IT consulting services to professional services firms and also markets and services the "Deltek Vision" system.
Since 1989 Costin Roe Consulting Pty Ltd has built on an extensive range of experience with civil and structural design for numerous commercial, industrial and residential projects. Our people are strongly committed to their clients' wants and needs, and we enjoy a reputation of working well with the design team.
Our technical excellence is achieved through highly trained and experienced professional staff. Continuing education is a key factor in ensuring that we are able to provide our clients with the latest available information and construction methods. This is supported by our aggressive adoption of new technology into how the firm works. We utilise current design and documentation software for all projects. Communication within our design teams is enhanced by use of CostinRoeNet, the Costin Roe Consulting intranet, the Internet and email for document and information transfer.
