Design and documentation of major upgrade and alterations to Junee correctional facility. These works covered numerous sections of the facility including refurbishment and extension of the kitchen, prisoner processing, and hospital wing. And new stand-alone gatehouse, canteen and staff amenities buildings. Of particular interest was staging of the construction of the new gatehouse which required removing a large section of the perimeter fence. Once this occurred 24 hours survalance would be need to be posted. Costin Roe Consulting Pty Ltd reduced this to an absolute minimum by staging the construction to cutting out the required section, excavating and pouring pad footings on the day. On day 2 precast panels were erected and temporarily propped and the perimeter fence secured.
